"Adam Saks is a perfect representative of the revival and new interest in printmaking that we now experience in Scandinavia. For the International Print Biennale he has executed a completely new series of prints in collaboration with master printer Ole Larsen at Ateljé Larsen in Helsingborg, Sweden. Adam Saks occupies himself with contemporary subjects and modern techniques, but he takes a detour over art history and traditional methods for printing, just to arrive in matters that are as urgent for us today as they were to people a long time ago: love, excitement, mortality, death… this is visual Baroque Pop swinging at its best."
