Marina Bindella was invited by Christiane Baumgartner:

"I am particularly fascinated with how Marina Bindella’s work deals with structure. By the use of very simple graphic elements like cut lines and dots she is able to create images which impress with their gradation of colour and use of light and dark. On occasion the structure of the image steps back and leaves space for the image itself, which often moves between figuration and abstraction. Her work seems to transport sound and rhythm, and beside a dynamic of perception one feels an aura rising up through the depth of her surfaces."
