Selected group exhibitions include: 8th International Printmaking Biennal of Douro, Alijó, Portugal (2016); 1st International Printmaking Biennale, Lodz, Poland (2016) and IV Székelyföldi Grafikai Biennále, Romania (2016). He lives and works in Toronto, Canada.

Burdy makes abstract linocuts that present symbolic elements which give the viewer the opportunity to think and interpret the images in their own way. The artist says ‘Time, oceans, mountains, deserts, plants, animals; who has created all this? This question is always on my mind. Although my prints depict landscapes, there is much more meaning behind them. Landscapes are only a pretext to deliberate upon the earth’s problems.’
